Hi,
during the pdo_mysqlnd development we have written some new tests. All in all we run about 180 tests for ext/pdo_mysqlnd and a code coverage of about 85%. We have 98 tests in ext/pdo. That is 44 tests and about 100% more loc than what is in the PHP 5_3 CVS tree.
I *will not* check the tests in to the PHP CVS as I do not dare to say that they are portable. Writing generic PDO tests is tricky because of differences in the PDO drivers and different SQL dialects with the latter being a rather minor issue. I did run most of them against OracleXE, SQLite, Postgres, DB2 Express and of course MySQL but they definetly need to be improved before being checked in to the PHP CVS.
If anybody is interested in the new tests ping me (or Lukas) who seems to want give focus to PDO, according to http://wiki.php.net/qa/testfest .
I can't promise to be very responsive and help with coding these days but...
Ulf
