Hey guys; I'm running some of the tests in tests/classes and seeing quite a few along the lines of type_hinting_005d.phpt. When I run the command directly, I get this output: $ php -f tests/classes/type_hinting_005d.phpt -TEST-- Check type hint compatibility in overrides with array hints. --FILE-- Array hint, should be nothing. ==DONE== --EXPECTF-- Strict Standards: Declaration of D::f() should be compatible with that of C::f() in %s on line 5 Array hint, should be nothing. ==DONE== I've tried running it with -d error_reporting=E_STRICT|E_ALL, same result. What am I missing here? Not sure. The test passes for me and I get the Strict message when I run it directly using E_STRICT|E_ALL. I was confused about it for a couple on minutes because the Strict message appears on teh screen above the body of the test and not after the line Array hint..., but it is still there. What OS? What level of PHP? Zoe
