It is not wrong but expected. If you read the strcoll implementation in php6 you will see that it uses the ICU version of strcoll (ucol_strcoll) which uses the ICU locale instead of the old setlocale. The ICU locale documentation can be found here: http://www.php.net/manual/en/locale.setdefault.php I would suggest to update the test in head to use this method (or its procedural equivalent) instead. My point was that that the message 'Deprecated' implies "You can use this but you shouldn't because it might go away".
Whereas it appears from the test result that you cannot use setlocale() and *must* use an ICU function. Zoe
