i have tested on centos4.5 with both php 5.1.6 yay and interbase
module was created with /configure
--with-interbase=shared,/opt/firebird
php -m is loading interbase.so without errors

also i have tested with latest stable 5.2.9 and compiling goes ok on
centos 4.3 (64 bits)
and firebird 2.1.x installed in /opt/firebird
ldd /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/interbase.so
libfbclient.so.2 => /opt/firebird2.1.x/lib/libfbclient.so.2
(0x00002b4051b63000)
libc.so.6 => /lib64/tls/libc.so.6 (0x00002b4051d49000)
