Hi
A while ago I wrote a script that does some of the work for writing test cases for you - I had forgotten about it till Eric discovered my documentation here: http://qa.php.net/autogenerate.php
I have a better version of that script now. In the new one I've made it impossible to generate long test cases, I also use Reflection rather than trying to crawl through the PHP code and use the proto{{{ statements to build the test case.
In one sense this code doesn't do much for you, it certainly won't generate expected output and it doesn't remove the necessity to think :-) However - I've found it pretty useful as a sort of automated checklist of things to remember to test for, and a way to avoid having to type --TEST-- over and over again....
If no-one has any objections I will replace the existing script with the new one and update the QA pages in line with the new code.
