Hi I have spent a little more time playing around with these pages: http://testfest.php.net/displayresults.php. The final column shows whether the test has been moved from SVN to CVS. Given that we are up to 450+ new tests it would be a good idea if mentors started to review and commit to CVS. So: 1) Check here to see what tests there are (http://testfest.php.net/displayresults.php) (yes - I know not all of them are running, working on that :-) and on getting PHP 6 results) 2) Ensure that tests work in 53 (or are associated with a bug# and have an XFAIL ) before committing. 3) Commit in HEAD first. It's possible that some of the tests won't run in HEAD. Most of the failures will be easy to fix (string|unicode), if a test is failing and you can see why, please commit it with an XFAIL section. If you cannot see why it's failing commit it with an XFAIL section that says so. I hope this won't happen often :-( 4) Do NOT delete the test from SVN. If you need to re-name it please rename the SVN version as well. 5) Finally - if a test needs significant fixes, please email the author with some friendly guidance (the email should be in the CREDITS section) and ask them to fix it. Thanks! Zoe
