Hello
If you want to get used to writing tests the easiest way is to write tests for stuff that is in the
bugtracker. Your Tests may not end up in the source, but it will help you learn using the tools, get
used to the format and help you develop some of the skills you need for more tests.
I did this for myself and it helped, but has the downside that there might be no real contribution
in terms of getting stuff inside the source tree.
Greetings
Sebastian
p.s. This is just my 5 cent, other opinions may vary
p.s.s @all: Is adding tests without request as a comment to the bugtracker encouraged?

Betreff: [PHP-QA] Help for test
Hi,
I'm a French developer and I really like PHP. That's for this reason I want
to try writing some tests.
I have already looked the tested method page, but I don't know with which
function I could start.
If you could guide me that's be great.
Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards
