Experiencing problems with PHP 5.4 alpha2 on Windows

Dear all,
I am experiencing some side-by-side-configuration problem with the Windows build of the PHP 5.4 alpha2 (php-5.4.0alpha2-Win32-VC9-x86).
When PHP 5.4 came out I set up Apache 2.2.1.9 (Apache Lounge version) with the first alpha - including Microsoft 2008 C++ Runtime. Everything worked.
Yesterday I downloaded the second alpha release and extracted it to the very same location as before. No change in configuration what so ever.
The Apache won't start for the mentioned reason.
Has this issue been reported before? Any solution then? Please let me know if there is some documentation how to circumvent this or if you need additional information about my config.
