A number of reasons:
1) It is an advisory warning and not an error/warning that prevent successful
compilation/operation of MySQL extension.
2) The warning is located inside the bundled mysql library, so this is not
something for us to fix. When the MySQL folks decide to address this issue in
their next MySQL release then we can resync our libraries and solve the
problem. So, you really should be complaining to them and not us.
