Build CVS version on AIX 5.1 (Tools required)

libtool-1.4.2-1 -----> 1.4 binutils-2.9.aix51.020209-1 ---> OK as supplied from IBM Linux Toolbox gcc-2.9.aix51.020209-1 ---> OK as supplied from IBM Linux Toolbox Important tricks!! 1) remove /usr/bin/m4 link to /usr/ccs/bin/m4 and install GNU m4 1.4 2) Avoid gd from Ibm or bull precompiled and use php bundled gd 3) If some build goes wrong try to use gmake instead of make 4) During make install (DSO build) it fails to create libs/libphp4.so and so it cannot copy it to apache/libexec dir : you must copy it manually : cp -p ./.libs/libphp4.so.0 /apache_dir/libexec/libphp4.so
