Since the removal of exporting assigned variables, this syntax no longer
works:
{if !$changing}
...
{/if}
This syntax DID work out of coincidence with the PHP parser picking it
up correctly and $changing was in PHP scope (extracted).
You have to do one of these:
{if not $changing}
...
{/if}
{if ! $changing}
...
{/if}
It even states in the manual that the qualifiers and values must be
separated with at least a space. Now this has to be enforced. It does
throw a syntax error at least.
