using Smarty variables inside another variable like array

i was wondering if its possible to use variables inside other variables
in Smarty templates.. something to the effect of
{section name=id1 loop=$array1}
{section name=id2 loop=$array2[$array1[id1].id]}
{/section}
{/section}
I tried this but it didn't seem to work. I was wondering if there was a
way or a work around to get the same results.. I am basically trying to
go through an multi array with the first set being the id from a
different array that I loop through.. Thanks for any help you can
provide..
