Another major change in CVS over the module on pear.php.net is that the library now returns classes instead of hashed arrays. For backwards compatibility you can set a global variable SOAP_OBJECT_STRUCT to false.
See examples/client.php for an example of the class usage.

I've done a number of updates to pear::soap, here's the log: Includes minor API changes from 0.6.2. Supports HTTP Proxy (SOAP_Client constructor takes 4th param of type array, SOAP_WSDL constructor takes 2nd param of type array, see HTTP_Request docs for proxy parameters). Improved WSDL proxy generation. Interop tests are moved to SOAP_Interop module, available via CVS only. Now additionaly requires PEAR modules Net_URL, Net_Socket, HTTP_Request If anyone out there has some time do run some tests with services or clients you've built, that would be appreciated. There are a few changes internally in the classes that may effect you, I would like to find out what, if, there are any compatibility situations. You'll need Net_URL from CVS. One thing, to get at soap_client::wire, you now have to add 'trace'=>1 to the options array you send to soap_client::call(), otherwise the wire will be empty. Regards, Shane Caraveo
