pear.php.net/manual If you got the latest PHP release (4.3RC2 as of this week), then you just do: % pear install SOAP if you have network connectivity, or % pear install name-of-tgz-file I will recommend using the latest 'pear' script. If you are using 4.2.x then just download the 'go-pear' script too boostrap the process: % wget http://pear.php.net/go-pear % php -f go-pear You will need the CLI or CGI version of PHP compiled.
