Tak, List
I would say the SOAP is the way to go, it's what I did while migrating
my company from Windows to Linux. I must say that building SOAP on
Microsoft/ASP was not as easy as on Linux/PHP (Maybe I should build my MS
SOAP with PHP). I used the PEAR::SOAP library (url: http://pear.php.net/)
to build my PHP based SOAP server and SOAP client. (PEAR::SOAP wasn't super
well documented so I wrote some at url:
http://www.edoceo.com/liberum/default.php?file=using-pear-soap.txt
. My
documentation isn't done yet, but it's there. On Windows I used the MS SOAP
Toolkit (we don't have .NET), url below That toolkit was tough to use, and
doesn't play nice with others, without some work. I don't know about using
.NET to build, but I imagine that it will be as elusive as the SOAP Toolkit
2.0.
