Memory Size Error

Hi all, I seem to be the test bed for all the problems, or it could just be me. Does anyone know the size constrains of the SOAP message being returned? I am getting a fatal error when the parser tries to parse the response message b/c it gets to big. Does anyone see a problem with changing the memory consumption in the php.ini file? Do you think this would help? I am not sure where the script it getting so big. I am grabbing a PDF from a remote server that is base64 encoding a 800k to 1 mb pdf. So when it comes down the pipe, it is around 1.25 to 1.5 mb at the most.
