Hello,
I am Alexandru COSTIN from InterAKT Online.
We have developed an open source XML/XSL publishing engine, and in the
process we need to implement an XML schema support class.
http://www.interakt.ro/products/Krysalis/
At the PHP International Conference, we've spoken with Sterling Huges, and
he suggested that we should donate this XML schema class to the Pear:SOAP
group. As libxml XMLschema support will be included in PHP only in PHP 5
(next year or so), I think many of you will be able to use our code to
validate XML documents in the meanwhile. We want to do this, but we don't
know whom to contact.
Our XML Schema implementation class works as following:
- get the XML schema definition
- using our XSL, we transform this into a valid PHP code that uses DOMXML to
validate any XML input document against the initial schema
- the approach in similar to the Smarty approach (compile the rules to pure
PHP code to improve performance)
We support a good part of the XML schema, and merging this in another
XML/PHP open source software will surely make it better)
Interested parties please let me know.
Alexandru
