Hi,
I am new to SOAP. I have recently compiled the PECL soap module. I have
tested it using the example code given in the docs to retrieve IBM stock
quotes and it works fine.
However, when trying to access the SOAP object that I need in my
development I am having problems. The code I have is:
<?php
$wsdl = "http://localhost/xmlws/wsmemselect.wsdl";
echo "<html><body>Starting...<br>";
flush();
$soapclient = new SoapObject($wsdl);
if ($soapclient->__isFault()) {
print "Error creating client!!<br>";
print_r($soapclient->__getFault());
}
else {
print "Created soap client<br>";
flush();
$ret = $soapclient->GetList();
if ($soapclient->__isFault()) {
print "Error!!<br>";
print_r($soapclient->__getFault());
}
else {
print "Success<br>";
print_r($ret);
}
}
flush();
echo "done</body></html>";
?>
The output I get is:
Starting...
Created soap client
...and then nothing else. I have substituted the real URL for localhost
but the real service I am accessing is a service provided by a big
corporate and I know it works as I have seen it implemented by other
companies (none using PHP).
I then noticed that there is the following error message in my apache
error log file:
FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate -137289284 bytes
obviously the apache process is dying hence no more output from the
script not even an error message. Any ideas where I can go from here?
Thanks. Best regards,
