Oh yea, my SOAP server has a feature to populate a child when the child requests, that about 3000 records (for the particular table I'm discussing, there are others). I notices that I couldn't send a response of 3000 records represented in SOAP/XML. Way too much data. What I did was to scale that down and only send 200 at a time, but now the client has to make 15+ requests to my server each time with an offset+=200. It's slow but I can still send all those records over in a reasonable amount of time. Since what I'm doing isn't 100% real-time/live this works, but if I had to real-time I'd force my subscribers to run a PostgreSQL client and let them in that way. /B ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rob Booth" <rbooth@indyme.com> To: <soap@lists.php.net> Sent: Friday, August 01, 2003 15:52 Subject: Re: [SOAP] Generic Database Access > > "David Busby" <busby@pnts.com> wrote in message > news:024a01c35877$2eb4a8d0$1100000a@busbydev... > > Rob, > > I don't have a solution, just my story.
