For example: { protected $myPropertyField; public proprety $myProperty get $myPropertyField set setMyProperty; public function setMyProperty($aValue) { $this->myPropertyField = $aValue; } } In the declaration a getter and setter could be defined, which could be either direct reference to a variable or a setter/getter function.
