I'm new to this mail list, but i think an integrated template system for
Php will be _very_ important... for one simple reason.
I don't need template; but the html designer who seats near me does. He
whish to use Dreamweaver or whatever elese to do the html, and see it
displayed.
I personally think that < >, or eventually <!-- -->, are the best
delimiters: we should remeber that templates should make life simpler
for the folk, who probably didn't ever wrote a "{" :)
I feel templates should be as similar to html as we can, and keep them
as simple as it's possible. After all, < > shouldn't cause so much
parsing overhead, and we can extend the cache stuff to cache pre-parsed
page.
Lok, we have achieved fast & easy templates!
