AAPOI, it doesn't use any ereg() or >preg*() functions, so it's kinda fast. I've got some code that implements about 30-40% of the engine. I don't think I'm going to pick up the project in the current form - since I wrote the spec I stumbled onto a couple of other templates engines for other languages that do some pretty nice things and I will probably rewrite the spec before restarting. -Andrei
