I put a bunch of ^L (formfeed) chars in my PHP code so I could print
nicely or get emacs to to narrow-to-page around my functions. When I
turned on error_reporting=15 in php.ini, PHP4b3 complained:
Warning: Unexpected character in input: ' ' (ASCII=12) state=1 in
/opt/whalemail/www/whalemail/whalemail.php on line 3
I'm surprised because all the other languages I've used treat formfeed
as whitespace and ignore it. Is this a bug or is it a great feature
I'm just not taking advantage of yet? :-)
