true, one could use 'element[x]' instead of 'sanity[]', but if I have three
checkboxes named 'sanity[]', I cannot reference the second one using
'sanity[][1]', nor can I reference it using 'element[x][1]' -- go ahead and
try, you can't separate it out, because JS doesn't know what to do when you
stack up brackets like that. If, however, as I propose, the name were
simply 'sanity', I could use 'sanity[1]' to reference the second checkbox.
I appreciate that I'm being heard and recieving feedback!
thanks,
