Hi there,
I just tried to compile the php4.0b4 dist for stand alone CGI support.
It dies with this error:
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/php-4.0b4/sapi/cgi -I../..
-I../../Zend -I/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/php-4.0b4 -I/usr/include/mysql
-D_REENTRANT -fPIC -c cgi_main.c && touch cgi_main.lo
cgi_main.c: In function `sapi_cgi_register_variables':
cgi_main.c:132: parse error before `)'
make[3]: *** [cgi_main.lo] Error 1
Seems to me that someone has forgotten to update the CGI dir after
changing macros or something, I'm not a coder and I can't patch this
myself.
If someone has has a fix for this, please mail me, I'd like to try out the
CGI version with our webserver here, WN.
Regards,
