Due to a last minute messup, a bug crept into Beta 4, that prevented it
from working properly if magic quotes were turned off.
A fixed version is now available from
http://www.php.net/version4/downloads.php
You can also download a diff that patches Beta 4 to Beta 4 patch level 1
from the same page.
You're encouraged to conduct this small upgrade to ensure the stability of
PHP.
