I'm trying to compile B4 at Linux and got following error message: /bin/sh ../../libtool --silent --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I/usr/local/src/php-4.0b4/ext/standard -I../.. -I.. /../Zend -I/usr/local/src/php-4.0b4 -I/usr/include/apache -I/usr/include/mys ql -D_REENTRANT -g -O2 -Wall -c crypt.c crypt.c: In function `php_if_crypt': crypt.c:120: `PHP3_MAX_SALT_LEN' undeclared (first use in this function) crypt.c:120: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once crypt.c:120: for each function it appears in.) crypt.c:120: size of array `salt' has non-integer type crypt.c: At top level: crypt.c:111: warning: `php_to64' defined but not used make[3]: *** [crypt.lo] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/php-4.0b4/ext/standard' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/php-4.0b4/ext/standard' make[1]: *** [all] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/php-4.0b4/ext' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 It looks like configure haven't figured out which crypt method to use. The strangiest thing is that B3's configure figures it out without any problem...
