i have a few scripts that run days & month - they used to
work just fine with php4/zend but recently (not sure how long
- maybe some weeks) they started to "eat" ram.
those leaks will nob be reported when php ends (so they are
still in one of the garbage lists).
this is starting to cause me some headache -
the attached purify dump was generated by the cgi version
(added a return statement before php_header() in cgi_main.c
function main()) - so it contains far a lot of leaks who are
not really leaks.
zeev, andi could you please have a look and check if you can
see what's causing the php-process to grow? i'm under the
impression that returning from a function does not free all the
memory it should.
btw: the script is a big-loop that handles file&db operation
the main loop ran 76 times.
thanx,
tc
