Any call to that function in current php4 cvs (after my commit tonight) produces the following backtrace: Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. 0x40227096 in html_putc (c=64 '@') at zend_highlight.c:58 58 ZEND_PUTC(c); (gdb) bt #0 0x40227096 in html_putc (c=64 '@') at zend_highlight.c:58 #1 0x40374780 in php4_module () from /usr/lib/apache/1.3/libphp4.so #2 0x4022d4aa in setenvif_module () at zend_API.c:774 #3 0x40231263 in setenvif_module () at zend_hash.c:623 #4 0x4022d1b4 in setenvif_module () at zend_API.c:774 #5 0x402270ba in html_puts (s=0x80f76d4 "TÁ \b\003", len=1076928156) at zend_highlight.c:66 #6 0x40227e88 in zend_update_extended_info (op_array=0xbfffc578) at zend_opcode.c:267 #7 0x4022150b in setenvif_module () at ./zend_execute.c:940 #8 0x4020bba2 in setenvif_module () at configuration-parser.y:322 #9 0x40239273 in setenvif_module () at php_apache.c:114 #10 0x40239bc6 in setenvif_module () at php_apache.c:114 #11 0x40239c16 in setenvif_module () at php_apache.c:114 #12 0x8053e64 in ap_invoke_handler (r=0x80f2c1c) at http_config.c:508 #13 0x80625ec in process_request_internal (r=0x80f2c1c) at http_request.c:1214 #14 0x8062648 in ap_process_request (r=0x80f2c1c) at http_request.c:1230 #15 0x805c439 in child_main (child_num_arg=0) at http_main.c:4122 #16 0x805c5cc in make_child (s=0x8099c24, slot=0, now=951543042) at http_main.c:4235 #17 0x805c6e9 in startup_children (number_to_start=5) at http_main.c:4317 #18 0x805cb9b in standalone_main (argc=2, argv=0xbffff794) at http_main.c:4605 #19 0x805d24d in main (argc=2, argv=0xbffff794) at http_main.c:4933 That makes _no_ sense to me.
