Hi All:)
I'm new in this maillist and php. But I encounter some problems when I
want to use the java extension in php4beta, So I go here and ask.
Here is my problem:
There's a example file in the php4betapl1 packages in ext/java/ directory,
jver.php. When I tried to load the page on the browser, the following
messages appeared:
Fatal error: Cannot instanciate non-existant class: java in
/home/jdchiou/test1/htdocs/jver.php on line 3
And, I have different situation when I tried these for the first time: I
even can't start the apache web server.
the following lines are added into my web server error log file:
PHP Fatal error: Unable to load dynamic library
'/tmp/php-4.0b4pl1/modules/libp
hp_java.so' - /tmp/php-4.0b4pl1/modules/libphp_java.so: undefined symbol:
JNI_GetDefaultJavaVMInitArgs in Unknown on line 0
Can someone tell me what's going on about it?
I compiled apache and php4 myself, using a RedHat platform, and Kaffe
1.0.5( coming from the redhat cd-rom ).
My apache is compiled to a DSO mode. (Is this the right mode that the
ext/java/README file said ?)
Thank you all in advanced.
And sorry about my poor English.
