More that I don't quite understand:
not only does a function persist between calls to a specific frame,
but it seems that it persists between different pages in a frame.
file A is called into frame 1.
file B is then called into the same frame 1, replacing file A.
any functions in file A seem to be available to the subsequent file B.
Is that the way it should be? I guess I'll have to put all my php functions in
the parent page.
Has anyone put together an authentication script using PHP4 sessions rather
than the base library?
