Hello all,
i am a new comer to php, and i downloaded php4 beta to start with...
calling for trbl you would say, huh? but I like that...
first script i try to run is :
<?php
$r=mail("mlrhazi@gltrade.fr", "Subject", "Line 1\nLine 2\nLine 3");
print "result from mail func was: $r";
?>
on the web page I get :
result from mail func was: 1
Did I miss sth?
in /usr/lib/php.ini I added :
sendmail_path = /usr/lib/sendmail
and calling sendmail from the command line does work :
/usr/lib/sendmail -t
to:mlrhazi@gltrade.fr
subject:test
line1
.
#
and I do recieve this email!
the problem is that I see no debug info? no err msg?
how do I trace it down? how do you guys debug your scripts?
do you really use that debuging scheem described in the docs, over a tcp
socket?
I cant figuer out how to do it!!
thanx alot for any hints
LM~
