Hi all, I hope somebody can help with this, 'cause it sure has me stumped... Compiling php-4.0b4pl1 on Solaris 2.5.1 for Intel as an apache module proceeds with out a hitch. Apache builds and links cleanly. However, the PDF functions don't seem to be in the resulting binary. pdf_open() gives an undefined function error, and the output from php_info() doesn't have a section on pdflib. Here's my configuration: ./configure \ --with-apache=/opt/pd/apache_1.3.9 \ --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql \ --with-pdflib=/usr/local \ --enable-sysvshm=yes \ --enable-sysvsem=yes \ --enable-debug=no \ --enable-track-vars=yes \ --enable-magic-quotes=no \ --enable-debugger=yes \ --with-imap=/opt/pd/imap-4.7/c-client \ --with-ldap=/usr/local \ --with-regex=apache \ --with-config-file-path=/web/apache/conf The following are snippets from the make output that seem to indicated that pdflib is indeed being compiled... Making all in pdf gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I/d1/pd/php-4.0b4pl1/ext/pdf -I../.. -I../../Zend -I/d1/pd/php-4.0b4pl1 -I/opt/pd/apache_1.3.9/src/include -I/opt/pd/apache_1.3.9/src/os/unix -I/opt/pd/imap-4.7/c-client/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/mysql/include/mysql -D_POSIX_PTHREAD_SEMANTICS -D_REENTRANT -g -O2 -c pdf.c && touch pdf.lo /bin/sh ../../libtool --silent --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -o libpdf.la pdf.lo . and linked.. /bin/sh ./libtool --silent --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -o libphp4.la -rpath /d1/pd/php-4.0b4pl1/libs -L/usr/ucblib -L/opt/pd/imap-4.7/c-client/lib -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql -R /usr/ucblib -R /opt/pd/imap-4.7/c-client/lib -R /usr/local/lib -R /usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql main.lo internal_functions.lo snprintf.lo php_sprintf.lo configuration-parser.lo configuration-scanner.lo safe_mode.lo fopen-wrappers.lo php_realpath.lo alloca.lo php_ini.lo SAPI.lo rfc1867.lo dlist.lo php_content_types.lo strlcpy.lo strlcat.lo mergesort.lo reentrancy.lo php_variables.lo Zend/libZend.la sapi/apache/libsapi.la ext/db/libdb.la ext/gd/libgd.la ext/imap/libimap.la ext/ldap/libldap.la ext/mysql/libmysql.la ext/pcre/libpcre.la ext/pdf/libpdf.la ext/posix/libposix.la ext/session/libsession.la ext/standard/libstandard.la ext/sysvsem/libsysvsem.la ext/sysvshm/libsysvshm.la -lgdbm -ldl -ldl -lpdf -lmysqlclient -lldap -lc-client -lgd -lresolv -lresolv -lresolv -lm -lcrypt -lsocket -lnsl -lsocket -llber -lz Doing a 'ld -D symbols' on /opt/pd/apache_1.3.9/src/modules/php4/libmodphp4.a shows the sort of function definitions you expect given my ./configure parameters, but nothing related to pdf. Any ideas? Thanks, Colin ----------------------------------------------------------- Colin Putney cputney@whistler.net Whistler Networks http://www.whistler.net/
