Hiya
Maybe a function which tells wich function was call will be handy (debug, stats e.d)
example:
<?
function wisky () {
echo Calling_Function();
// should be someting like Cola
}
function Cola () {
echo Calling_Function();
// should be empty or the script-name ($PHP_SELF)
wisky();
}
Cola();
?>

is it possible to restrict a php-program to a certain Path, e.g. /usr/local/httpd/sitename to let phpcode access only its own directories and below? (like .htaccess for apache) Though I've never done this, I suppose you could leave the addtype directives for php out of httpd.conf and put them in a .htaccess file in the directory of choice. There's probably a performance hit to consider, but it should work. /Mike -- PHP 4.0 Beta Mailing List <http://www.php.net/version4/> To unsubscribe, e-mail: php4beta-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php4beta-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php4beta-admin@lists.php.net
