XML + XSL : A thought?

Well, I know this might be a really stupid idea but would it not be
possible, given these XML and XSL parsers from Apache with their APIs, to
integrate these into PHP before 4 final release so that further development
in this area would be handled by development of the programs from Apache
Foundation and PHP would automatically benefit from any extensions to these
programs..
Given there are some people out there who are already working on XML stuff,
maybe (well, just maybe) it might not be so hard for them to integrate these
beasts into PHP... I don't have enough knowledge/courage to undertake the
task myself but if I did I guess I would...
Anyway, my 2 cents worth...
