nt4 exception error

When running the "hello world" script in new beta4 install using apache/php4 I receive an
access violation.
The same script has no problem with php3.
I configured the ini file to mirror the php3 ini file except
for where the ver 4 dir is. There was already the msvcrt file
in the system32 dir. Is there a difference in the msvcrt file included with beta4 dist?
