Hi Everyone, Just wondering if any of you have had success compiling PHP4 on a SCO Unix box ? I can compile PHP3 + Apache 1.3.12 + Informix 7.2x no problems, but PHP4 will not compile at all. Someone else I've spoken to seems to be having the same problem. I'm using SCO 5.04 Openserver with the full Development kit installed, gcc 2.95.2 & gmake 3.78.1. I've tried the php4b4pl1, and several of the php4-latest snapshots but all 'mess' up :( Below is the last page before the 'make' bombs out. Any suggestions most welcome. (Please reply to paulg@barleychalu.co.uk as I'm not on this list - yet) Kind regards, Paul. global.h:504: parse error before string constant libmysql.c: In function `net_safe_read': libmysql.c:260: warning: `old_signal_handler' might be used uninitialized in thi s function libmysql.c: In function `simple_command': libmysql.c:389: warning: `old_signal_handler' might be used uninitialized in thi s function libmysql.c: In function `end_server': libmysql.c:612: warning: `old_signal_handler' might be used uninitialized in thi s function libmysql.c: In function `mysql_real_connect': libmysql.c:1116: warning: `old_signal_handler' might be used uninitialized in th is function gmake[4]: *** [libmysql.lo] Error 1 gmake[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/php4-200003151345/ext/mysql/libmysql' gmake[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 gmake[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/php4-200003151345/ext/mysql/libmysql' gmake[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/php4-200003151345/ext/mysql' gmake[1]: *** [all] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/php4-200003151345/ext' gmake: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
