Hello,
I have encountered some strange compile problems while trying to install
php4-b4pl1 with imap support.
I have the standard 4.5 imap distribution, and when I run 'make' on the
php4 source tree, it gives me parse errors in /usr/local/include/unix.h
(part of imap distribution). I looked into that file, and it seems that it
tries to use some definitions that are defined in mail.h of imap, but it
doesn't include mail.h itself, I think it assumes that the program using
it does that. So, I just put an #include <mail.h> in the unix.h file, then
the problem was fixed, but another had appeared: in Zend/zend_compile.h,
line 102, in the definition of struct _zend_op_array, there is a line with
'int T'. The problem is, that T is defined in mail.h to '1'. So, I either
don't include mail.h at all (so I don't have the definitions needed by
unix.h), or change that T to _T everywhere it is used in the php source.
Has anyone encountered this? What sould we do?
Regards,
