The latest change of refcount to be unsigned short results in the
warning:
var.c:59: warning: comparison is always 0 due to limited range of data
type
var.c:75: warning: comparison is always 0 due to limited range of data
type
var.c:82: warning: comparison is always 0 due to limited range of data
type
On those lines refcount is being compared to -1, although I have no idea
why. This needs to be fixed.
