The versions used are Apache 1.3.9 +Mod_ssl +Php4b3 +Postgresql 6.5.3 on RedHat 6.1 Apache 1.3.11 +Mod_ssl +Php4b4p1 +Postgresql 7.0b1 on Redhat 6.1 and HPUX 11 The configure line for Php4 is ./configure --with-apache=../1.3.x --with-pgsql --with-mcrypt For Apache is SSL_BASE=../openssl--0.9.x \ ./configure --prefix=<prefix> --enable-module=ssl \ --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a All configurations seem very stable, I am using pg_pconnect. In all cases the Postgres db is on the same host as Apache, so all my connections are local. Cheers Mark >
