hey I am trying to compile php4 beta4pl1 as an apache module using apache 1.3.12 on Linux 2.2.10. I followed the Install directions word for word, but GCC gives me the following error Here is how i configured php4 before compiling it: $ ./configure --with-mysql=../mysql-3.22.32 --with-apache=../apache_1.3.12 --enable-track-vars $ make I get this after typing 'make' for php crypt.c: In function 'php_if_crypt': crypt.c:120: 'PHP3_MAX_SALT_LEN' undeclared (first use in this function) crypt.c:120: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once crypt.c:120: for each function it appears in.) crypt.c:120: size of array 'salt' has non-integer type crypt.c: At top level: crypt.c:111 warning: 'php_to64' defined but not used make[3]: *** [crypt.lo] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory '/root/Desktop/install/php-4.0b4pl1/ext/standard' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory '/root/Desktop/install/php-4.0b4pl1/ext/standard' make[1]: *** [all] Error 1 make[1]: *** Leaving directory '/root/Desktop/install/php-4.0b4pl1/ext' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1. If it try to continue the installation, i get the php.ini file, and I can compile apache and everything, but the php apache module is never created. Any ideas?
