Hello,
I have a problem with PHP that persists since shortly after version PHP4b3.
Any PHP 3 versions and any PHP 4 version until including PHP4b3 are _not_
affected of this, which makes me suspect that it's an internal PHP problem:
There's a package called phpChat, available at
http://www.phpwizard.net/phpChat
When this chatserver is being used with any recent PHP 4 version after beta
3, PHP, after login, will launch an Apache process which starts eating
memory until it is being killed. User aborts do not seem to have any effect,
it seems that either PHP or Zend step into an endless loop continuously
allocating memory.
I have not been able to track down this bug myself in the sources - does
anyone have any opinions about this?
