NNTP (with IMAP): How to get list of newsgroups?

I've tried this:
$nntp=imap_open("{localhost/nntp:119}","","",OP_ANONYMOUS|OP_HALFOPEN);
$group_lst=imap_list($nntp, '{localhost/nntp:119}','*');
for($i=0;$i<count($group_lst);$i++) { echo $group_lst[$i].'<br>'; }
It didn't work. Should it work with nntp connects or am I missing
something here? My brain? =)
