And I can't read your computer's mind, so if you would forward on your
php.ini, I would be glad to take a look at it. Also, are you trying to run
as a cgi, apxs, or servlet (in other words, what parameters did you specify
on your ./configure). Also information about what JVM you are running
would be helpful.
Also, seeing as the message for this has changed (some spelling errors
corrected), I can tell that you are not running the latest. In the last
week and a half, I have clean up a lot of Unix installation issues.
Sapi/servlet remains the easiest as it uses the pre-existing JVM. CGI is
now nearly as easy as I now specify the necessary runtime library paths on
the link step (using -rpath). I can't do this for apxs with the existing
libtool, so I took the opposite approach and defer all loading until
runtime, meaning that you get a relatively useful message to your web
browser instead of being buried in some Apache log if you are lucky.
You can get the latest from either CVS or from a snapshot. In the next few
hours, Zeev should be making available a "rc1" for 4.0 which should include
this too.
