Hi everyone,
I have compiled OCI-support into php4/apache and now two problems:
-Connecting and reading data succeeds from the db, but a zombie-process after
fetching a site (=session) remains:
wwwrun 18188 1.9 2.2 11004 4416 ? R Mar28 24:58 \_ /usr/sbin/httpd -f
/etc/httpd/httpd.conf
oracle 18269 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z Mar28 0:00 | \_ [oracle <defunct>]
oracle 18273 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z Mar28 0:00 | \_ [oracle <defunct>]
oracle 18275 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z Mar28 0:00 | \_ [oracle <defunct>]
oracle 18279 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z Mar28 0:00 | \_ [oracle <defunct>]
-How could I use another db as given in ORACLE_SID? The third parameter of
int OCILogon(string username, string password, string [ORACLE_SID]);
is not required, $ORACLE_SID is used instead. This works here because apache and
the oraserver are located on the same host (a system for learning and testing)
My db has a global name test2, the naming method is 'TNSNAMES' and
tnsping test2
Attempting to contact (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=erik)(PORT=1521))
OK (50 msec)
works properly. Why I can't use 'test2' as third parameter in OCILogon? (the
default domain is also set):
oci_open_server: ORA-12514: TNS:Listener konnte in Verbindungsdeskriptor angegebenen SERVICE_NAME
nicht
auflösen
Evironment:
i856-ibmpc-linux (SuSE6.3),
Linux version 2.2.13 (root@stott) (gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)) #1
Tue Nov 9 00:09:41 GMT 1999
apache1.3.9. php4.0b3 (linked statically) with oracle 8.1.5.0.2 EE,adabas PE
11.0, mysql 3.22.27
Many thanks in advantance (or so).
oli.
