It's possible, that isi error is specific to 11.0 Well, during ./configure phase of apache a get this error: -------8<------------------------------------------------------ cd ..; gcc -DLINUX=2 -I/root/php-4.0RC1 -I/root/php-4.0RC1/Zend -I/root/php-4.0RC1/Zend -I/root/php-4.0RC1 -DUSE_EXPAT -I./lib/expat-lite -DNO_DL_NEEDED ./apaci -o helpers/dummy helpers/dummy.c -Wl,-rpath,/opt/sybase/lib -rdynamic -L/opt/sybase/lib -Lmodules/php4 -L../modules/php4 -L../../modules/php4 -lmodphp4 -lgdbm -ldl -lsybtcl -lintl -lcomn -lct -lcs -ldl -lresolv -lm -lcrypt -lnsl -lresolv -lm -lcrypt /opt/sybase/lib/libsybtcl.so: undefined reference to `bsd_tcp' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [dummy] Error 1 -------8<------------------------------------------------------ The missing bsd_tcp symbol can be found in the /opt/sybase/libs/libinsck.a Adding this to libphp4.module helps. I haven't yet tested, that it works 100%, but apache serves requests and doesn't segfault. I don't know, whether newer sybases have this function in main library.
