I think I'd better ask for some help again, before I tear out what
little is left of my hair.
I've had a working extension module since early January. Every time I
update my PHP4 source tree and try to rebuild, I have problems getting
the module's functions to show up in PHP.
Here's what I did this time:
Get the source into /usr/src/php4/current
cd /usr/src/php4/current/ext
./ext_skel loco
cd ..
./buildconf
edit /usr/src/php4/current/ext/loco/config.m4 leaving the section
that tests for --with-loco
run my configure script that includes --with-loco
make
My loco.c is getting compiled and linked - I can see it there
make install
httpd stop
httpd start
phpinfo() shows me that the module I've just built is the one that is
running.
The functions defined in loco.c are not defined.
This used to work just fine .... I'm really perplexed .... what has
changed???
TIA,
Paul
