Yeah,
We are currently doing it on Solaris. Oracle is on different server. We
simply configured PHP with Oracle and static. You might start by configuring
vanilla and adding stuff in incrementally starting with Oracle.

Subject: [PHP4BETA] OCI and PHP4
Anyone able to get Oracle8i functionality to work in PHP4 RC1? I compile it
and then the httpd server won;t start. I have installed Oracle and gotten
it working with the NT tools. So Oracle is installed correctly as far as I
know.
Here is the configure string I use to ./configure PHP:
./configure --with-config-file-path=/etc \
--enable-track-vars \
--enable-magic-quotes \
--disable-short-tags \
--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs \
--with-ftp \
--enable-trans-sid \
--with-xml=shared \
--with-oci8=$ORACLE_HOME
Thanks in advance for any pointers,
