compilation prob

hi, i am sorry if this question has been asked 1000 times before, but I just can't figure it out. Ive never had problems compiling php3 before.. well, I compiled and installed apache 1.3.12 and then I did exactly what php4 said in the INSTALL file. I am running Redhat 6.2 even though I fixed my apxs file according to your instructions configure says it is likely to be broken. it seems to compile fine, but make install terminates with this: sapi_apache.c:28: httpd.h: No such file or directory sapi_apache.c:29: http_config.h: No such file or directory sapi_apache.c:37: http_core.h: No such file or directory sapi_apache.c:38: http_main.h: No such file or directory sapi_apache.c:39: http_protocol.h: No such file or directory sapi_apache.c:40: http_request.h: No such file or directory sapi_apache.c:41: http_log.h: No such file or directory sapi_apache.c:53: util_script.h: No such file or directory make[3]: *** [sapi_apache.lo] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/root/php-4.0RC1/sapi/apache' make[2]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/php-4.0RC1/sapi/apache' make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/php-4.0RC1/sapi' make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 I dunno what to do anymore. I just need php4 really bad :) please, somebody help me! </jan>
