Having that extraneous background information out of the way, my question is.. How feasible would it way to backport PHP4's session management to 3, either in part or in full?Writing your own session management in PHP 3 is simple and straightforward enough. I have a few websites written in PHP 3 (with MySQL for backend) that use session management code that I wrote specifically for those sites. I simply used the session management example in Atkinson's 'Core PHP Programming' as a starting point. It works very well for my sites. Mark Lindsay
